The “Path of Peace” — San Luis Valley
Our most talked-about project: a 2,000-foot elliptical spiral trail on a private property in Southern Colorado. Gravel path with wood chip sections, the trail winds through the landscape connecting a spirit kiva (a space for release and reflection) and a meditation deck.
The trail was designed for meditative walking — with natural flow, calming rhythm, and seamless integration with the surrounding sage and mountain landscape. A future lodge will anchor the space as a community gathering and healing center.

Can you build a private trail system on my property in the San Luis Valley?
Yes. We design and build custom private trail systems on residential and rural properties throughout the San Luis Valley, including Crestone, Baca Grande, and Saguache County. We've built everything from simple walking paths to a 2,000-foot elliptical spiral trail with meditation spaces.

We build walking and hiking footpaths, meditation and nature trails, multi-use trails (hiking, mountain biking, equestrian), property boundary trails, and complex multi-loop trail networks. Each trail is custom-designed to blend with the natural terrain and fulfill the property owner's vision.
What materials do you use for trail construction?
Material selection depends on trail use and aesthetic goals. We commonly use compacted gravel, decomposed granite, wood chips, and native soil tread. For special-purpose trails, we can incorporate stone, borders, and natural landscape features. Our Path of Peace project used gravel and wood chips.
How much does a private trail system cost in Colorado?
Trail costs vary significantly based on length, terrain complexity, materials, and design features. A simple footpath is far less than a multi-loop network. We offer free consultations and site visits to assess your property and provide an accurate estimate.
